ONCE AGAIN WE ARE BLESSED WITH A GREAT SONG BUT NOT A GREAT ALBUM!
All summer long teens and adults have been bobbing their heads to Kelly Rowland's hit single "Motivation" feat Lil Wayne. This song has not only fashioned a radio frenzy but landed at the #1 spot on the hip hop and r&b charts. I thought the best is yet to come; so I logged into Rhapsody and listened to her new album "Here I Am." I was disappointed! I thought, with her new found confidence and hit producers like Rodney Jerkins and Jim Jonsin it would be a hit! The album was a combination of up tempo songs that promoted confidence, intimacy, and womanhood but failed to promote talent! I foresee success in her career because of the song and other projects. I only hope next time she camps out in the studio instead of just visiting it!

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?
Hello readers, I thought she was a perfect candidate for my "what the hell are you thinking list" this week! I have to say, I hope she is not receiving government funding and she has a good credit score! Spending 200.00 a month on something as ridicoulous as this, is just ignorant!

The Beginning

Wow, finally I am able to start a blog. Blogging is something I've wanted to do for a long time. My life has been so hectic, that starting a blog was last on the list. I am in high spirits that I finally get to spill my emotions and frustrations about some of the things that are going on in my life and in the world around me. Throughout it all, writing was always release therapy. It did not matter if I was writing about situations that were serious, silly, or educational they were all still entries in one of my many journals. In my lifetime, I’ve collected an amount of twenty-five or more journals. My mother used to call me "Carol-Pella” (a local news anchor for WSEE) because I was always ranting about something and “tattle telling”. The difference between me and other communications majors is my future is just not an occupation, it’s a calling. I deem that if you have a dream, follow it. My dad always told me “If you can't get through the front door, go through the back door and if you can't get through the back door, then kick it down!” Enjoy the thoughts of myself and others, as I give you front row tickets into the reality of my motives and thoughts.
